Kalonji Seeds (Nigella Sativa)

Kalonji seeds (Nigella sativa) are small black seeds with a peppery, lightly smoky flavour and a gentle bitterness. Toast or crush them lightly to release more aroma.

Best for: naan and bread toppings, pickles, curries, lentils, vegetables and homemade spice blends. Add in small amounts and adjust to taste.

Ingredient: whole kalonji seeds.

Storage: Keep sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, heat and moisture.
